UC vs. EKU

The UC Lady Ruggers played their season opener against Eastern Kentucky University.
The team traveled down to EKU's home field in Richmond, Kentucky on Saturday, March 1st. UC started out slow and let EKU take an early lead. In the second half, the bearcats made a tremendous come back to tie up the match. Unfortunately, EKU scored a try with only minutes remaining.
UC played numerous new players including Sarah Ackley, Sammy Niesz, Ellis Koenig, and Carmen Caris.
