Nash Bash
As the spring season continues, the UC Women's Rugby Football Club headed to Nashville, Tennessee on March 21st, to compete in the social bracket of the Nash Bash Tournament.
The UC Lady Ruggers drove down on Friday, March 14th, to arrive in Nashville at 10:30 pm. After a good night sleep, the team was up bright and early to be on the pitch at 7:00 am to register.
Having their first game at 8:00 am against Marshall University Women's Club. Marshall University forfeited leaving the UC Lady Ruggers to play the Chicago Sirens Women's Club. UC lost to the Sirens 12 - 7, moving into the loser bracket of the tournament.
After a short rest, the lady ruggers were back in action playing against Middle Tennessee State University. Middle Tennessee State University won 45 - 0, but UC left their hearts on the pitch and fought every second.
Finally, the UC Lady Ruggers played their last game of the tournament against the University of Findlay. The UC Ruggers played a great game winning 45 - 0.
