Players Corner: Kayla Bell
This is what graduating senior Kayla Bell said about playing UC Women's Rugby!
"Playing women's rugby has been the absolute best decision I've made in college. I made close friends, developed leadership skills and learned so much about what I was capable of as both a person and athlete. The greatest thing about rugby is that there is a place for everyone. Women of all sizes, speeds and abilities can find a place to play in rugby. Rugby teaches you to challenge yourself and to trust you teammates, which builds strong friendships on and off the field. I benefited not only from playing but meeting people from all of UC's colleges and making academic connections off the field.
Quick thinking, athleticism and camaraderie are the first three things that come to mind when I think of UC's women's rugby team. The team creates intelligent, strong and athletic women from all walks of life on campus. I'm a better person for joining the team and the campus is a better (and tougher!) place because of UCWRFC."
