Player of the Match: Hannah Lemley

Hannah Lemley has been awarded Player of the Match for her fantastic performance in Saturday’s match against Ball State! Saturday’s game was only Hannah’s first real rugby game and she scored 3 tries!

Hannah is a Psychology major at UC and is also getting a minor in Communication, as well as a certificate in Deaf Studies. She picked UC because she loved the atmosphere and campus. Hannah practiced as full-back but played winger in Saturday’s game. She said she decided to join rugby after her co-worker, Megan Daumeyer told her she played for UC and that Hannah should come out and try it!

Throughout Saturday’s game, Hannah had some amazing runs. She was constantly able to break tackles and she ran great supporting runs when her teammates had the ball.
