Player of the Match: Sammy Niesz
Sammy Niesz has been awarded Player of the Match for her excellent playing in Saturday's match against EKU! Sammy scored multiple tries and helped gained numerous yards with her speed!
Sammy is an Accounting major at UC and decided to join rugby because a friend of hers played and convinced her to join. Sammy is flexible on the field and plays wing, outside center, or inside center. Her most memorable rugby moment was in the Spring of 2014 when she slammed into the goal post at Wright State but still scored the try! Her favorite food is any kind of pasta, especially chicken alfredo.
In Saturday's game, Sammy supported her teammates and was able to gain even more yards of other's runs by being their to pass the ball too!
