Player of the Match: Maria Torok

The UC Women's Rugby Team would like to give a shoutout to new player Maria Torok for her fantastic gameplay this past weekend at Nationals! Maria joined the UC Women's Rugby team at the beginning of the Fall 2015 season, and had some amazing tackles at Nationals! Not only did she fearlessly tackle larger opponents, Maria scored her first try and played in multiple new positions!
A native to Cincinnati, Maria says that her most memorable rugby moment was when she first tackled someone! She is studying Psychology at UC and her favorite food is Tacos!
