UC vs. UK
On Saturday, February 27th, the UC Women’s Rugby Football Club had their spring season opener against the University of Kentucky at the University of Kentucky. Due to the shortage of players for UK, the rugby match was 12s played with six forwards and six backs.
The UC Bearcats brought home a win with the final score at 55 to 24. The UC lady ruggers played a great match and showed amazing support on plays as well as great breakouts from the packs. UC was able to play multiple first time players, who all showed zero hesitancy and played fantastic for their first game! Multiple returning UC players tried out new positions and exceeded expectations in those positions!
Come out and support the UC Women Ruggers as they take on Eastern Kentucky University. Gooooooooooooo Bearcats!
